Instructions

1.  Remove screws from bottom of chassis also along back bottom 
then remove bottom panel.

2.  Remove screws from analog audio out board.

3.  Remove screws from main board.

4.  Remove screws from keyboard assembly, mark or note cable 
connections.  Example: use marker to label cables 1 thru 3 on 
keyboard assembly and cables connectors.  Cut any wire ties to free 
keyboard assembly.  Disconnect 2 cables from LCD to Main Board.  
You can now gently pull Main Board and Audio Board to lay outside 
W-30 careful to not disconnect or break any cables.

5.  Now you can remove screws from ³switch² or ³button panel².  
Note where metal brackets are for easy re-assembly! Carefully 
remove button panel.
 
6.  Remove 4 screws holding LCD to Button Panel.

7.  Now you must carefully de-solder old EL LAMP pulling leads away 
from PC Board.  Old Lamp should slide out easily once leads are de-
soldered.
 
8.  Lay New Lamp over LCD Display noting where leads must be 
soldered for maximum display coverage!! Tips of EL LAMP leads 
should be about center of PC Board connection.

9.  Now carefully slide Lamp under LCD and solder leads to PC Board.

10.  Put W-30 back together.  Make sure not to pinch or break wires, 
be careful re-aligning Button Panel!  Not difficult, just pay attention 
-- draw pictures if needed to help make re-assemble easy. Put 
new wire ties back to hold cables if possible.  Double check cables 
for problem free repair.  If something doesn¹t work, check your 
connections.

99% of problems are human ERROR!!! Re-Adjust Contrast for best 
display and VOILA!
